Tuition is $3200 + GST, and includes all materials and lunch breaks during the course. Participants may be eligible to receive funding through the Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant.

Truly great leaders have a specific blend of skills. But they also possess something else; certain characteristics which are harder to define.
The truth is that there is no predetermined “magic combination” of characteristics that makes a leader successful, because different characteristics are beneficial in different circumstances.
The key to effective leadership instead lies in the ability to understand the various approaches to leadership, so that the right approach can be used for each unique situation. This course provides an opportunity for you to develop your skills, strengths, and sense of self as a leader by helping you navigate the complex waters of team management and leadership.
Course Modules
Mindset Reset: Mindset is the belief that our thoughts, beliefs and attitude have an effect on our success. A growth mindset allows us to challenge ourselves through setting challenging but achievable goals, become flexible in adversity and stay motivated when things don't go as planned. On the other hand, a fixed mindset hinders learning from mistakes or believing in ourselves. By developing the right mindset, we can learn to believe in ourselves and use our potential to reach greater heights.
- Develop an awareness of the limiting beliefs that shape the way you think and act
- Learn techniques to identify and reframe fixed thought patterns into growth ones
- Uncover new perspectives on problem solving, decision making, communication and motivation
DiSC Communication for Better Understanding:
- Learn about the DiSC Model and the Everything DiSC® Workplace Map
- Identify your style and explore the priorities that drive you during your workday
- Discover your reactions to different styles
- Discover the similarities and differences among the styles
- Identify what works for you and what challenges you encounter when working with each style
- Use the DiSC Model to understand the people you engage with
- Learn how others have bridged their differences using DiSC
- Practice using DiSC to build more effective relationships

Time Management: Personal and financial success relies heavily on one's ability to manage your time effectively. Knowing your time management style, understanding what you can control, and setting solid priorities will keep you focused and ensure that your results are aligned.

Recognize the priorities and tendencies, based on their own DiSC style, that shape their approach to the fundamental work of leaders: creating a vision, building alignment around that vision, and championing execution of the vision.
